The backrest is padded with the same PU material as the seat, and both sections are filled with high-resilience foam. The frame is made from powder-coated steel in a dark grey finish. The maximum load capacity is 130 kilograms. While primarily intended as a low mobile seat, this unit can serve as a hallway bench for putting on shoes – users can roll it to a convenient spot and sit briefly. The backrest provides a slight sense of enclosure but is not designed for leaning heavily. The castors include locking mechanisms on two of the wheels; press the tabs downward to prevent rolling when the stool is positioned against a wall. To clean the PU upholstery, use a soft cloth with diluted liquid soap; avoid saturating the seams. Periodically inspect the caster stems for debris that may hinder rotation. The stool arrives partially assembled: the seat-back unit attaches to the base with four bolts (tools and instructions included). Assembly typically takes less than ten minutes. Because the stool is low to the ground, it is also suitable for children’s playrooms or as an extra seat in a home recording studio. The backrest makes it less likely for the user to slip off backward. However, care should be taken when sitting down quickly, as the castors may shift. For hallway usage, place the stool near an entrance area to assist with removing boots or reaching low storage cubbies. The black colour and simple shape blend with contemporary interiors.
